When you leave the location, I would ask you to dispose your trash properly to keep the hall clean.

Covid-19

Covid-19 Regulations Austria

Currently there are no Covid-19 regulations in Austria (Vienna excepted).

Arrival by Car

Motorways & Expressway

The toll sticker are compulsory on Austria’s motorways and expressway. Please don’t forget to buy one.

Parking

Please feel free to use the parking space on the right side of the trainings hall. Otherwise parking in Vienna is for free on weekends. If you don’t use the parkspace provided by the facility, then make sure to pay for parking in Schwechat. After saturday 12:00pm parking is also free in Schwechat.

Parking spaces for locals

If you plan a trip to Vienna before, during or after the seminar weekend, please make sure you don’t park on a places which say “Anrainerparkplatz”. Those parking lots are reserved for locals. So even if you paid for parking, you could be fined.

Using Public Transport

Train from Airport

The seminar location is only 12 minutes away from the airport. To reach the location you only need to take the S7 line to station “Schwechat”.
(2 stopps – ticket price €1,90)

Train from Vienna

The S7 train line leaves from Vienna Praterstern (Subway U1, U2) to Schwechat every 30 minutes.
(7 stopps – ticket price €2,40)

Subway, trams & busses in Vienna

If you plan on using the public transports in Vienna as well, please make sure to buy a ticket to avoid fines.

Food Shopping

Supermarket

Close to the seminar location is the big supermarket “Eurospar”. On Saturdays it is opened until 18:00 and on Sundays closed. Please keep that in mind. They accept card payments and cash.

Gas Station

Right on the opposite side of the seminar location is a Shell gas station, which has a small grocery store inside. It is also opened on Sundays. (It is not as cheap as the Eurospar) They accept card payments and cash.

Tap Water

The tap water in Vienna or Schwechat is very high quality as it comes from the Alps. Bring along a bottle as there is no need to buy water in the supermarket. It is beneficial for your wallet and the environment.

Pharmacies

Most pharmacies in Austria have fewer opening hours than pharmacies in other countries, with general opening hours being Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, and on Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm. All pharmacies, other than those designated as an emergency service pharmacy, are closed on evenings and on Sundays.
